Breaking News - Finished Painting a Warehouse on Avalon Drive on the

This Warehouse used to be Red and we painted it a Pantone Blue.

Helping a Kaumatua paint his house in October. It always feels good to help the commuinity.
On top of that I only charge trade prices for paint and materials. I know other painters will put on a mark up. I dont. Ive probably only done it 3 times in my career as a painter. Its another incentive for you really.
Its probably also handy to know that my prices are affordable. In fact I qouted a job in Glenview, Hamilton (September 2023) that was $3000 below my competitors.
This included:
1) A full Interior and exterior re-paint.
2) Full house wash
3) And scaffold hire
And I still came in at $3000 below my competitors prices. The reason I can do these prices is that my team is very humble and small. I have 2 painters (my younger brothers) and myself. So its a small operation.

I have painted more properties than I can remember. However this property was a memorable one as the painting system was very complex. The client wanted it painted black but we had to use a specific undercoat that was designed to reflect alot of the UV light so as to help sustain the longevity of the black top coat. Tamahere.

This house below it was very straight forward. It took us 3 days to paint. Nice straight lines. Flawless substrates. Tamahere.
WINTECH
There were multiple painting systems used on this very large commercial property. The painting was to a very high standard. Rotokauri, Hamilton.
HUNTLY - COMPLETE RENOVATION
This was a complete make over inside and out. It presented some interesting challanges as it was a house removal purchase. The owner was a young investor from Auckland that wanted to turn it into a rental property. We painted the roof as well. Huntly.

One of the largest Electrical Companies in Hamilton had requested that I paint this office before they moved in. My brother and I painted his house a few years back. This property was in very good nick which gave us an easy convas to work with. I was happy with the finish. Frankton, Hamilton.
RENTAL IN HILLCREST - COMPLETE NEW LOOK
Though this unti was a small property it had a few nasty suprises. Some of the windows had rotted which halted work on them until the builders could fix them. The doors required 4 coats of paint to cover the brown veneer. Hillcrest, Hamilton.
HOTEL ON ULSTER STREET
The 2 large buildings in the photo needed painting. This included the blue shutters. We completed the job in a 4 days. I was pleased at how efficient and seemless the job was. Thats me on the scissor lift. Whitiora, Hamilton.

PLASTER AND WEATHERBOARD
This house was a pleasure to paint actually. We did our usaul waterblast and prep before applying 2 coats of Resene X200 weather membrane. We also apllied black water based stain on the cedar cladding around the back. Clarken Road, Hamilton.
START FROM SCRATCH
This next house was a complete "Do-over". The system of paint on the house had completely failed. It had bubbles all over it. So we stripped it right back and appllied Resene Lumbersider to stop the wood sap from seeping through and causing bubbling. Then we applied two top coats. Frankton, Hamilton.
HILLCREST MAKEOVER
This house needed a prep and paint ready for a new year of University Students. It was a straight forward job. Hillcrest, Hamilton.

A beautiful modern Raglan Beach Retreat was easy to paint once we got the colour right. Sometimes the original colour no longer exist in the colour palate.
